Tavira is a charming quiet village with a traditional beauty, conserved by the historical centre typical houses and streets, however Tavira does preserve important imposing monuments, such as the Castle or the beautiful Roman bridge.
The river Gilão that runs through Tavira has beautiful fishing boats, and the proximity with the Ria Formosa makes of Tavira a place blessed by nature, with amazing beaches, islands and sights.
