The Rio da Prata beach is surrounded by an extensive pine tree area, and a high cliff.
The beach, situated next to Meco has an extensive sandy area and is quite looked for by naturists, being one of the first classified naturists beaches in Portugal.
The argil cliff that surrounds the sandy area has small natural water springs, making of it a perfect place for green argil treatments, hence it is frequent to see find many people covered in argil throughout the beach.
