Meco Beach

The Meco Beach is considered to be the “Mecca” of the Portuguese naturism, and the most well known internationally.
It is protected by an argil cliff, with water springs, a perfect place for green argil treatments.

The beach is quite frequented by families, it is calm and the ocean waters, although dangerous due to the strong tides, due to the Espichel Cape proximity, are quite clean and natural.

The Beach has several paid Parking lots, where once there were agricultural fields, transformed into car parking lots during summer time, as it is much more profitable for the local families.

Once at the beach, facing the ocean, on the left side is visible a high dune from where onwards start the naturist area, opposing to the right side, where the beach amenities are situated, frequented by families.
