Melides Beach

The Melides Beach, situated in the charming Alentejo Coast is considered to be the most extensive beach in the Country.
Melides is well known by Surf and Bodyboard practicioners, and is also looked for by paragliders that find in the Vigia (a slope with over 5 meters high) the perfect spot to launch in wonderful contemplation flights.
The beach is endowed with a natural pond that enlightens the landscape and is characterized by its typical fishermen and boats.
