Situated in the charming São Pedro do Estoril locality, in Cascais, and with a privileged location next to the ocean, Ponta do Sal is a place of great beauty.

Here is situated the Ponta do Sal’s Environmental Interpretation Centre that aims for the requalification of the space and the public usufruct of these notable Cascais areas, promoting the biophysical diversity and the beauty of the landscape.

The Interpretation Centre is developed on an area of about 300 square meters, privileging its educational themes, and from here it is possible to observe the biophysical and landscape features of this beautiful place.

Also available is a pedestrian itinerary of about 800 meters, the visit to the coastal cliff, or the “Casamatas” that were structures built in the beginning of the 20th century in order to light up the coastal areas, situated over a natural salience from where one has an astonishing panorama.
