Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park

Located on the beautiful region of Nordeste, in the northeast side of the astonishing São Miguel Island, on the amazing Azores Archipelago, the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park reflect the great natural beauty of this territory that charms all of those who contemplate it.

This is one of the most looked for places in the Nordeste region, offering an abundant vegetation and quite diversified, along with the crystalline fresh waters of the streamlet that promote a wonderful waterfall and also the quietness of a beautiful lake.
Throughout the Park there are several legacies of other times, such as the water mills (working in one of them a very interesting Ethnographic Museum) or the ancient miller’s house also adapted into handicraft shop and rural accommodations.
The area also provides the cafeteria services, a snack park and a children’s area.
