Lagoa (“Lagoon”) de Albufeira is situated on the western side of the Setúbal Peninsula, in between Caparica and Espichel Cape, at about 20km south of Lisboa.
This is a place of unique beauty, combining the purity of the ocean, with the lagoon waters and extensive pine tree fields.
The lagoon offers great conditions for the practice of sport fishing, sailing or windsurf.
It is formed by two main ponds connected by a narrow canal: the small pond, less deep, and the big pond with 15 meters maximum of depth.
