The ancient Pinelo locality is a small village filled with history, divided by a charming streamlet.
Pinelo is located at about eight km from Vimioso and five from Argozelo and Vale de Frades.
Even nowadays Pinelo is very famous for its olive oil, yet the lack of workmanship, provoked by the abandon and emigration for bigger towns and countries, endangers the production of this much appreciated product.
The traditional festivities are very important for all the Pinelo locals, assembling a large amount of people every year.
